The first step is to have the patient wear the biosensor patch. The single-use, wearable patch adheres to the chest of the patient and wirelessly captures, records, and transmits the body vitals of the patient.
The captured patient data is transmitted in real time to a centralised dashboard, which can be monitored by the nurse at the nurses’ station or by the patient’s doctor remotely, no matter where they are. The dashboard can display real time vitals for upto 24 patients on one screen, with a maximum limit of 94 patients.
Threshold indicator for each patient can be customised for each parameter. Every time there is a threshold breach for any of the connected patients, an immediate alert is sent out to the dashboard and to the nurse’s phone. This ensures timely & collaborative medical attention to patients.
The trends of the patient’s vitals for all chosen parameters are updated every 30 minutes. This ensures an overall view of the patient’s progress is available to be able to take well informed medical decisions.
Updated digital case files of all patients are available in real time, which can be shared or printed whenever required. This ensures significant saving of the time spent by a nurse to manually record and upload vitals into the system.
LifeSigns will provide your institution with a free demonstration of the iMS solution. The hospital system will receive a four-week setup for ten patients. During this time, the hospital, physicians, and nurses will be able to evaluate the technology and performance of the biosensor on patients.
The zero-capex model reduces the cost of transfer and setup. LifeSigns will configure the hospital network once the iMS is deployed. When necessary, conventional wards can be quickly converted into step-down ICUs, HDUs, and HiMS units.
LifeSigns will provide support and maintenance with network configuration for iMS at no additional cost. Our technology and staff will ensure that your hospital is always digital and able to give intelligent care to patients.
Specialized training programs will be available to assist hospital personnel administer and to use iMS Biosensors. These programs are intended to ensure that hospital personnel fully understand and can apply the technology and its capabilities. Hospital Support Executives will be on hand to guide and assist nursing staff until they become accustomed to iMS.
